Because Atom models all stocks in its universe, it can build quantitative screens based upon data not available to other managers. This gives Atom a significant competitive advantage.

Financial data on stocks held within the portfolio and potential investments within Atom's investment universe of 1,600 stocks are ranked based on proprietary algorithms to confirm each current investment's potential and new investments' relative attractiveness.

Currently 28 screens search for opportunities across 1,600 potential investments.  These screens highlight a smaller number of opportunities for detailed analysis within a sea of data and share price volatility.

An additional benefit of this database is that it allows Atom to compare the characteristics of its portfolio against the overall market.  Without modeling each company in the market, this would not be possible.
